Everything supports the vision.

No not me. I’m not moving to Phoenix. But when I was down in Phoenix in March hanging out for a couple days at the Rich Dad HQ, one of the side benefits [apart from meeting Robert and Kim and the rest of the Rich Dad advisers] was to meet his staff and to be able to ask questions about what it would be like to work for Rich Dad himself.

From their replies it was clear that Robert practices what he preaches. The employees are not highly paid, they are expected to work for knowledge and experience and they are held accountable, not only for their work for the company but also for their personal financial goals as well.

So it wasn’t really a surprise to me to read on the Rich Dad forums about The Rich Dad Apprentice Challenge where a few of the employees were given 30 days to see who could be the best Rich Dad franchisee [Rich Dad is soon going to begin to offer franchise opportunities and this is test run].

Did I mention that this competition is public? At least if you’re a Rich Dad TV subscriber. That’s called really challenging your employees and giving them a chance to see what they are really made of. One of the participants John Seif has also started a blog Working With Rich Dad where he is video blogging his experience of being thrown into a 30 day business start-up. John is a sensitive and honest guy so watching the videos is a great peak into what it is like to go from zero to business in 30 days.

  1. Just wondering if you saw any of the Rich Dad advisors? I’m guessing you didn’t see Dolf De Roos since he’s now with another real estate icon.

  2. You’re right Dolf wasn’t there. Besides Kim and Robert, I enjoyed meeting Sharon and Michael Lechter the most. They really know their stuff.

  3. Hi, I am just starting with the rich dad phylosophy, I can imagine that you training must be cool. You drop me a line in my new blog on how I can improve my “trying” to get out of the rat race. My blog is:
