Speedling…so fast we are in the future.
Meet the future…her name is Ms. Video. The web is changing…did you notice? If you would have kept track of the number of times you encountered a video online in the past couple years, I’ll bet the graph would look a lot like a stock that you wished you owned.
So just to unburden you from futureshock, today’s edition of speedlinking Friday has a special video theme.
- BigThinkingByTheHour helps you use video to improve your online marketing … and they also use it [very well] on their site. Surprise.
- CopyBlogger is in pre-launch of a very pretty site called TubeTorials which will feature free how-to videos for online success [I assume success being trying to make money]. Not too much there yet, but sign up to be notified of what’s going on.
- In a bit of a twist of the theme, SpotRunner allows you to advertise your business on TV [that box in your living room that you don't use anymore, except for the Superbowl] by using template commercials. It’s a lot cheaper than you would expect.
- Kangaroo TV allows you to watch the action from one of many camera angles on your own personal screen [you rent it] at live sporting events. Very cool idea, long overdue.
- And the highlight of this week’s video find is also brought to you via CopyBlogger. Here’s a very cool and hip example of the power of individual video casting on the web. It’s the ZeFrank show ["ZeFrank thinking so you don't have to"]…doesn’t look like the Quicktime embed plugin is cooperating today and I’m too lazy to download it so you can head over to ZeFrank.com and watch the video there.
Have a weekend!
Jon
