One Red Paper Clip

Are you ready for the next Million Dollar Home Page idea? This one is just as clever and probably a little more interesting.
The trade of goods and services is the essence of capitalism so what Kyle is trying to do with one red paperclip is to make a series of trades and end up with a house. So far he has done remarkably well. With only 10 trades he has gone from a paperclip worth a fraction of a penny to a professional record deal that I would guess is probably worth a minimum of $15,000 to the right individual.
Although the story is rooted in the old time principles of trade and capitalism, it is really only made possible by the broad reach of the Internet. When you can expand your pool of trading partners to include most of the world then you really can leverage the one man’s garbage is another man’s treasure [think eBay!] to the max.
I just love it when someone takes a simple idea and turns it into magic! My guess is that Kyle’s house is about 10 trades away, depending on where he wants to live, of course.

Liam J added these pithy words on Aug 08 06 at 4:31 amI saw that on TV in Australia abut the red paperclip guy, I sometimes wonder if the same principle could be applied to investing online in very inexpensive small cent trades until you get a larger investment similar to the red paperclip guy.
I supply and produce a FREE online business catalouge to internet group members and I came a cross a investment company called aceinvest http://aceinvest.biz/aljufri that made me think of it, check out my group page above and go into files to look at my catalouge.
