Oh my God! I’m so tired of reading on the internet! Could someone just simplify all these posts and tell me how to blog for money? I wanted to start a blog tonight — just to post musings — and I am so boggled by the blog instructions…
Of course I would like to monetize it! I don’t write humor for free! (All the time! I don’t write humor for free all the time!) Which site should I sign up with?!
There are TOO MANY of these BLOG FOR MONEY websites and they are all confusing.

I’m not really sure how to respond, so I thought I’d ask you guys for help.
In a way “Why doesn’t someone post the instructions in an easy to read format??!!” is what I try and do everyday, so I may not have been the right person to ask. 
Do you share their frustration?
Do you know where “the instructions in an easy to read format” are located? Please leave a link if so.
Is it possible to outline how to “blog for money” with a few simple instructions?
For example:
- Choose a lucrative topic
- Post large quantities of significant “above the crowd” articles, images and/or videos
- Get involved in the money flow (usually via advertising) around your topic
That’s as simple as I can put it.

every single blogger wish to have an easy start, lol but it ain’t easy even if you try Blogger.com… you have to begin simple and then realize whats going on around you, and figure out which steps the other bloggers followed to get where they are… But step by step… It won’t come as easy as you may think.
No, I don’t have a simple blog creating instructions, try Blogger.com. Is my advise.
I do have a commenting instruction post. I made mostly for my family who asked me “How do I leave comments??”. They haven’t really used the post.
This humor person should though to get him some traffic after he gets his simple blog started.

NO, NO, NO don’t tell our friend that. Worst possible thing to do, you must own your own site and domain if you are at all serious about blogging for dollars.
It’s my understanding the real problem for this person is the clear instructions for how to make money blogging, not actually setting up the blog.
Well, there is no clear way to make money that works for every one. It is a game of doing what works for you. Plus, if someone found the clear easy path to make money everytime…chances are they won’t tell you that path. They may give you step one, but step 21 is not going to be given. You have to be smart and figure stuff out for your own self.
The easiest way to set up a self-hosted blog is go to a host that has fantastico and use that to install it.
Get a blueprint of previous success. I like the book by Yaro Starik, he approaches the whole blogging thing from a very business like point of view, in my mind there is no other way. Building a blog, with the goal of earning money from it, is like building any business. The biggest lesson I have learned, “Build a blog business on a topic you are passionate about and know something about” you do not have to be an expert, just love your subject matter. Else you might end up, blogging for a week or two and lose momentum. Happened to me a few times. If this happens, fine, it will help you figure out what works for you, do not be afraid to have a few small re-start loops until you find your true blogging passion.
