Over on his site Sean Wise is asking for questions on the following topics:
if you have a question about raising capital, venture capital, entrepreneurship, etc.
Now, Sean has coached entrepreneurs through and been involved in VC deals approaching $1b of capital raised. I met Sean here in Edmonton a week ago and it was very clear that he knows his stuff inside out. Besides all the real world experience and connections to everyone in the biz, Sean mentioned that he has been mentored by Guy Kawasaki for the past 7 years…which means he must be cool.
Here’s the question I asked on his site:
My question is about the tipping point between planning a company and actually getting to work implementing those plans.
Guy Kawasaki suggests to implement first and plan later, but many business purests say this is a critical error.
Too much planning and the idea is dead before it ever gets off the drawing board, not enough and it could turn out to be a disaster. How do I know when I’ve done enough planning and when to get to work?
You can find his answer here, then go and ask your own entrepreneurial question.
When he answers you question, come and post a link in the comments if you’d like to share.
