Yes it’s true, Google announced this morning they will provide free wireless broadband across North America:

I’m guessing this is a limited time offer icon smile Free In Home Wireless Broadband from Google so don’t delay apply immediately.

Looks like, in true Google fashion, that this is a highly innovative setup…I’m sure it’s only beta though.
