Craps and the Dice Controller

When I was in high school I spent most of my lunch hours either playing poker or piching pennies. After school I we would head out to the race track, hop the fence and put down a bet on the trifecta. So of course I’ve heard of card counting and shifting the odds at the black jack table in order to consistantly beat the house. But tonight I was watching some tube and I saw a gambling angle that I’ve never seen before.
It’s called dice controlling in the game of craps. The show was about Dominic Loriggio who learned to throw the dice so accurately that he could consistently beat the house at the game of craps.
Gamblers rely on luck [that's why they consistantly lose] whereas Dominic has a system that tips the odds in his favor. It took him years to master throw and the set up to control the dice, but in the show it demonstrated that he was able to go from 25 to 35 throws without hitting a 7 as compared to the statisical average of 1 in 6.
I never would have guessed that dice could be controlled, but the show and the book, presumably, demonstrate the physics that make it possible. A fascinating story, see Dominic’s site for plenty of info on the topic or you may want to take one of his courses
