Art Of Money Smashes Traffic Barriers
Jun 20
Forgive me I’m about to break the most important rule in blogging for profit (the focus on delivering value to the readers and not on yourself principle).
But even more important than the most important rule, is the fact that my wife tells me that I need to celebrate my accomplishments more – she claims that it is vital to increasing your wealth, and I tend to believe her theory.
With those thoughts in mind, let me share a couple pictures which resulted from a chain of events that began with a hug, continued with a plug and followed with a rumble of a stumble.
Cracking the top 20,000 in Alexa

Yesterday’s Rank for Art of Money: 19,105
100 Most Popular Sites in the Last 10 Days?
Really, according to Internet Supervision which is a reputable website monitoring service, Art of Money is the 36th most popular site on the web for the last 10 days! Now that’s worth celebrating. Just to put it in perspective, CNN.com is number 25!
You can visit their website rankings list, but since it will change, and so my Grandkids will believe me, I grabbed a screenshot.

Okay that is one seriously flawed ranking algorithm. Wouldn’t it be nice if Google would have a bad day once and a while and you could end up getting the same amount of traffic as CNN for a couple hours.
Fun to dream.
Thanks for indulging my celebrations

Wowsers, that does deserve a post!
Congrats!
Is this due to your $100 a day blogging project?
… and you stuffed all the p#rn sites too
You and I are from the 1980s Golden Age of Music, aren’t we not?!
So, do you still have that copy of Kool and The Gang’s “Celebration”? Then go make a dancing Jon mash-up, upload to YouTube and watch this site go viral
Anyway, congratulations, man!
Yay! Glad I helped get the kudos rolling but your post was definitely Stumble-worthy. Here’s to Stumbles!
And send me the link when the YouTube video mentioned above is up.
Thanks everyone.
@K, no it was mostly due to this story: Why I’m Giving Up on Making Money
@Mark, LOL, yes you’ve got my era pegged, although I’m more of a Queen’s “We are the Champions” kind of guy, but I wouldn’t be holding your breath for that video any time soon.
@RM, Thanks a again. Impressive that all the A-List bloggers are reading your site
Only because I hypnotized Darren at the NY meetup the other week.
“RSS Rich Minx… RSS Rich Minx…”
Congrats, it’s a great post (Why I’m Giving Up on Making Money), deserves the traffic.
