Oh, Google can be such a fickle master.
Actually even though my ranking have dropped on some of the main phrases here, I still see lots of secondary phrases to the ones above pulling in traffic.
The other factor here could be that in June I switched up my WordPresss permalinks structure (I removed the categories) so, even though I have 301 redirects in place, I still expect to see a hit in rankings. Fingers crossed that it is temporary.

Everything stable here. I still haven’t put any efforts into monetizing this site, beyond the affiliate links that are embedded in to posts.
The “Optimization Report” I received from Google in my AdSense account says it all:

Summary & Notes
Like I said at the top, due to other factors in my life, I had to pause this project (hoping to get back to it in August). But I will try and toss in some tips for making money online that are specific to blogging along with the regular content for the next little while.
I think of Google as our society’s Oracle at Delphi. It’s how we turn to a mystical source for our answers.
My “optimization report” said that I should stop blocking so many potential ads in my competitive ad filter. I looked, and there’s only one in there; it’s a geneology website that uses your DNA to help you understand your ancestry. Not something my readers would be interested in (although I can see why my key words were pulling up the ad).
I’m not sure why they bother with the reports.
LOL Brian, seems like the optimization report system needs some optimizing.
