Wired has an interesting list of the 10 Wackiest E-Commerce sites. There’s some fun stuff in there list including:

  • ThinkGeek - selection of geek toys and gadgets.
  • Branch, a store that vends recyclable iPod nano cases, a $3,000 table made from recycled paper, and a $12 bonsai tree in an aluminum can.
  • Threadless, which accepts design submissions, puts them up for a week of voting, then prints and sells the best ones.
  • Dynamism, which has the fastest and lightest laptops you can find outside the gray market…also check out their cherry wood headphones!

One that didn’t make the list is Woot, which is a personal favorite. It’s a bit like the old “Blue Light Specials” at Zellers. A new deal item every day [most are gadgets], a limited supply, amazing deal…and when it’s gone it’s gone.
